my work?

empowering neurodivergent members of the jewish community

but first, a bit about my philosophy

in relation to Judaism and the Jewish community focuses on creating inclusive and affirming environments for autistic and other disabled members of our community. I believe in integrating the needs of neurodivergent and other disabled individuals from the outset, ensuring that everyone feels safe and included.

As an autistic and multi-disabled Jewish person, I have a deep, personal understanding of the challenges and barriers faced by neurodivergent and disabled members of our community. Fighting ableism is not just a professional endeavor for me; it is a vital, lived experience. It is crucial to elevate the voices of those who have been silenced and misrepresented by others who speak on our behalf without truly understanding our experiences. My work is dedicated to creating inclusive spaces where neurodivergent and disabled individuals can thrive and be authentically ourselves. By advocating for neuro-affirming practices and challenging societal norms, I aim to foster a community that respects and values the diverse experiences and contributions of all its members. My goal is to ensure that our voices are heard, our needs are met, and our rights are recognized.

I emphasize the importance of collective responsibility within the Jewish community to foster inclusive spaces. This involves educating community members, leaders, and institutions about autism and Neurodiversity, promoting empathy, understanding, and proactive inclusion and true acceptance. By dismantling ableism and challenging harmful stereotypes, I advocate for community-wide efforts to ensure neurodivergent and other disabled individuals are respected and valued, empowering them by affirming our experiences and advocating for their rights and needs.

A significant part of my approach involves embracing the diversity within Jewish texts and mystical practices, highlighting the contributions and experiences of neurodivergent individuals. I promote mental health and well-being by addressing the challenges associated with masking and unmasking and advocating for supportive practices that enhance the mental and emotional health of all disabled individuals in our community. My leadership and mentorship style is holistic and compassionate, focusing on the well-being of the entire community and fostering a sense of belonging for all members, regardless of their neurotype.

Spiritual Direction, Counseling & Coaching

I offer spiritual direction and coaching for those seeking to cultivate a more honest, sustaining relationship with the sacred.

Spiritual direction is not about fixing or achieving - it’s about witnessing. It’s a contemplative practice rooted in sacred presence, where we explore the spiritual dimensions of your life as they emerge in everyday moments: in joy and grief, in routine and rupture, in doubt, yearning, and awe.

As a guide, I don’t give answers. I accompany you in noticing how the Divine - however you understand it - might be showing up in your life, calling you toward deeper meaning, connection, and growth.

This work is grounded in Jewish tradition, interpreted through a trauma-informed, neuro-affirming, and queer-affirming lens. That means honoring your rhythms, your doubts, your silences, and your ways of knowing. It means we don’t treat suffering as a test or neurodivergence as a problem to solve. We honor the truth of your experience, and listen together for what sacred invitation might be unfolding within it.

My practice draws from Jewish mystical teachings, contemplative traditions, and relational theology - particularly approaches that recognize the Divine as emergent in relationship, presence, and transformation.

For those who’ve experienced spiritual trauma, exclusion, or disillusionment, spiritual direction can offer a space to heal - not by forcing reconciliation, but by gently attending to what still aches, what still matters, and what is still possible.

Whether you’re seeking grounding in spiritual practice, longing for a sense of connection, or simply needing a place to reflect on your life through a sacred lens - this is a space where you can show up as your full self. Slowly. Tenderly. Truthfully.

This work is especially welcoming to neurodivergent, disabled, queer, and questioning Jews; those in transition or discernment; and anyone who’s ever wondered where, if anywhere, they fit into Jewish spiritual life. You can schedule a session here.
